International Orders for Blue Green Algae
As a result of increased security, we are required
to include your phone number with our International Shipping
Documents.
We have had parcels returned because the customs officials could not
contact our customer.
So we are asking you to include a phone number where you can be
reached during business hours, as well as a phone number where you
can be reached after hours.
If you are not sure that blue green algae will be accepted into your
Country, please check with your country's customs agency to ensure
that they know what blue green algae is, and will accept it into
your country. Ask if there is any product description which will be
helpful to facilitate the import through your customs department.
Ask them what Harmonized Tariff Code they recognize for this
product, as well as what information they want to see on the product
description and invoice.
In the event that a parcel is returned by your
country's customs officials, you will still be responsible for the
shipping charges. In the event that your parcel is seized by your
customs authorities, we will not provide any refunds.
Email confirmation - sending information
We appreciate your sending us your shipping information via the
email - this is a sure way we spell everything correctly, and we
have an easy way to communicate with you. We utilize email
communications to answer customer inquiries, coordinate order
processing, deliver invoices and product related documents,
coordinate shipping tasks, and customer support. Note:
Financial and account information is no longer permitted in
unencrypted communications.

Shipping using your post office
We use the post office for smaller orders because their air parcel
post option is the most cost effective.
You can find some customs information on the United States Post Office website.
Select the "calculate postage" link and choose the "calculate
international postage" link.
Then, select "package" - and select your country for a one pound
parcel.
Please read the "Prohibitions", "Restrictions", and "Observations"
sections.
Payment Options
All orders are prepaid. We accept credit cards for
international payment for our established customers, and
require written authorization in the form of email or fax with your
order. Note we use a virtual merchant and do not keep your
credit card information on file here.
Do not send credit card information via email.
This is best sent on a phone call, or encrypted communications.
For new customers:
An International Bank Check or International Money Order in US
Dollars is our preferred method of payment.
For larger orders:
Wire transfers must be pre-arranged over the telephone. There are
additional transaction costs for wires.
You will never be asked to change our deposit account information
via email.
Our security policy prohibits the exchange of financial account
information via unencrypted texting or email.
We have installed WhatsApp and Signal on our cellular phones to
transfer encrypted information.
Other Shipping Options
We also use UPS for some of our international orders. Their service
is very reliable and slightly more expensive than the post office.
We find that their customs clearance procedures are easier than the
Post Office's.
For larger orders we employ the services of an international freight
forwarder.
